Pelaa 1.0.7
Released: 7 August 2026 (build 32)
Everything in this release came out of coaches using Pelaa on real game days. Tag buttons can now be sized individually, and five things that got in the way while tagging no longer do.
Tag buttons can be resized
Every button used to be the same size, whatever it was for. Now, in Build Mode, select a button and drag the grip in its bottom-right corner to give it the size it deserves: a big target for the thing you press forty times a game, a small one for the rest. Hold Shift while dragging to keep the button's proportions.
Resizing is a single undo step, and your existing tag windows keep the size they already have until you change one.
Typing a label no longer stops by itself
While you were typing into a text label, the automatic save a second later closed the editor underneath you. The caret vanished, the rest of what you typed went nowhere, and pressing Space started playback instead of typing a space.
Saving now records what you have written and leaves you typing.
Cmd+A works
Select All was missing from the Edit menu, which on a Mac is what gives a text field its Cmd+A, so it did nothing anywhere in Pelaa. It now selects the text you are editing, so you can replace a label in one go, and selects every tag on the Track when you are not editing text.
Fixes & polish
- Typing into a text label is no longer interrupted by the automatic save.
- Cmd+A selects all text while editing, and all tags on the Track otherwise.
- Reordering rows no longer leaves a stray coloured label floating over the Track.
- Holding Cmd+S no longer crashes Pelaa; saves are handled one at a time.
- "The document could not be autosaved" no longer appears while working on a stack of stop frames.
Thanks to Alex Hough at Hockey Queensland, who found all five of these and sat down with us to walk through them.
