A drawing-tools release, shaped almost entirely by one coach's feedback. The highlighter's hard outline can be turned off, scrubbing works vertically as well as horizontally, and right-clicking any annotation now opens its style options — one rule instead of five different behaviours.
Right-click any annotation
Every annotation now follows the same rule: click to select, double-click to edit text, right-click to style.
- One options panel, built for what you clicked. A highlighter offers colour, opacity and border; an arrow or circle offers colour and width; a spotlight offers its mask; a text label offers the full set. No panels full of controls that don't apply.
- Track tags and stack clips have real context menus too — the same actions as the menu bar, so undo behaves identically wherever you started from.
Turn off the highlighter's border
The highlighter drew a solid full-strength outline around its wash, which reads as a hard frame sitting on top of the action. Set the border to 0 and it's gone — and the setting sticks, so every highlight you draw afterwards follows it. Fill opacity is adjustable the same way, and remembered the same way.
Scrub vertically
Two-finger swipe up and down now scrubs the video, alongside the left-right swipe you already had. The direction follows your own macOS scrolling setting rather than imposing one, and the axis locks when your fingers land — so a slightly diagonal swipe keeps scrubbing the way it started instead of stuttering between the two.
Fixes & polish
- The style options panel is rebuilt as a proper macOS inspector — every row lines up, every number is an editable field with a stepper.
- Right-click menus open at your cursor. They had been opening below the player.
- Text labels: the options panel is now reachable by right-clicking a label, not only by double-clicking one you'd already made. If labels have ever covered your action, that panel has Background: None, size, and colour.
- Stop-frame clips: Extend Start and Extend End are now on the clip's right-click menu, so making a stop frame longer than 2 seconds is findable rather than hidden on a shift-drag.
- Removed a Duplicate Tag menu item that had not worked for some time.
