Pelaa 1.0.4

Released: 19 July 2026 (build 28)

The biggest release since 1.0: Pelaa now records live games — from a capture device or a network stream — so you tag the game as it happens and walk away with footage, tags, and reports in one project. Alongside it: a full report builder, and your tags now travel in and out as XML and CSV.

Live game capture

Plug a camera or HDMI capture box into your Mac and press record. The game records into your project while you tag it live.

Supported hardware: live capture has been tested with the AJA U-TAP HDMI (USB 3.0 HDMI capture device) and Mac built-in cameras. Other UVC capture devices that show up as cameras in macOS may work, but are untested — if you use a different box, test a full-length recording before relying on it for a game. For the U-TAP, we recommend updating to AJA firmware v1.5.7 or later.

Live stream recording

Paste a live stream URL (HLS, the common .m3u8 kind) instead of plugging in hardware. Pelaa records the stream into your project with the same live workflow: tag in real time, replay while it records, go live, pause, stop — identical to a camera capture.

Reports

A report builder lives in the Track bar. Build count and time tables from your tags, and read the numbers during the game — reports update live while you tag.
