Pelaa 1.0.12

Released: 15 August 2026 (build 37)

This release is about labels: the buttons in a tag window that describe a tag rather than create one, and where their press actually lands.

A label marks what is running

A label used to mark exactly one tag, the button you had last pressed by hand. In a real period that is rarely the tag you meant. If you were holding a shift open and you tagged a shot against, then pressed Chance Against to describe it, the label went to the shift. Nothing on screen told you, and the report you built a week later was quietly missing it.

Everything running marks every tag you have open, plus anything still inside its lag time. Press 5v4 and the shift, the zone and the shot all carry it. That is what a strength label or a zone label is for: it describes the state of the game, so everything happening in that state should carry it.

An outcome you only know a beat later

Some things cannot be labelled at the moment they happen. You tag a faceoff as the puck drops, and only afterwards does it settle and you know whether it was won. By then the tag has often already closed, and the label had nowhere to go.

Last tag I made reaches the newest tag, open or finished, for fifteen seconds after you made it. Press the faceoff, then press Won a second later or ten seconds later, and it lands on that faceoff either way. Lag time no longer has to be stretched just to catch your reaction.

Anything older than that is still a right click on the tag in the Track, where you can set any labels you like, at any time.

A press that lands nowhere says so

A label with nothing to mark used to flash exactly like a label that had worked. It now shakes instead, so a press that went nowhere looks like one. And a label press is a single undo, however many tags it marked.
