Pelaa 1.0.10

Released: 13 August 2026 (build 35)

The biggest release since Pelaa launched. You can now record the game straight from the arena's own camera, or from a stream link, and tag it while it is still being recorded. This is the release 1.0.8 and 1.0.9 were building toward; everything from both of them is in here.

Record from the arena camera, or from a stream

Until now a live capture meant a camera or a capture box plugged into your Mac. Pelaa now also records:

• Arena IP cameras, by their address. Add a camera once with its address and password and Pelaa keeps it, on that Mac only, for every game after.
• Stream links, including the per-game links a club's camera system generates. Paste the link and press Go Live.

Sound comes with the picture in both cases, and the finished recording is an ordinary Pelaa project you can cut, tag and export like any other.

Tag and review while it is still recording

Scrub back to check what just happened without stopping the recording. Tag it, draw on it, then jump back to the live edge and carry on. The recording never pauses, and the tag you place while looking back lands on the frame you were looking at.

It keeps recording through a bad connection

An arena connection is rarely the one you were promised. When the link cannot carry the resolution you started at, Pelaa steps down instead of dropping frames, and steps back up on its own once the connection recovers, all the way back to the best the stream offers.

While that is happening it tells you the truth about it:

• whether the slow side is your own connection or the stream's
• how many seconds of game the connection failed to deliver, counted up and never down
• when the link is genuinely back, once, and then it gets out of your way

If your picture falls behind the game, the live badge says so instead of claiming you are live, and clicking it takes you back to the play.

Fixes & polish

• A tag placed while reviewing during a recording now opens on exactly that frame afterwards. It was landing about half a second early.
• Undo inside a tag window stops at the template you are working on. Undoing far enough used to bring the previous template back over the top of it.
• Seven menu shortcuts that were fighting each other have been separated, and ⌘M is Minimize again.
• The Open dialog offers only the video formats your Mac can actually open. Dragging a file in still accepts anything and tells you when it cannot be read.
• Recordings always finish with picture and sound the same length, even when the connection was starved for minutes.
• A stream whose sound cannot be read is recorded full length with a silent track, and says so, instead of failing.
• Scrubbing backwards during a recording is smooth instead of jumping.
• A feed that drops out and comes back is recorded through the gap and keeps going.
