What a club needs to start.

  1. A way to tag the game

One coach, one laptop, one game. Buttons for the moments you care about, a timeline to review them. That is the core and it does not need a server.

  2. A way to turn tags into clips

Pick the moments, order them, trim them. Players watch clips, not a spreadsheet of events.

  3. A way to draw on the key frame

A stop frame with an arrow or a circle teaches more than a sentence. It should stay on the exported clip.

  4. A way to get it to players

Export an MP4 and send it yourself, or run a session in the room with a second display. See build a video session for your players.

  5. A price the club can approve

A self-serve price on the page, no sales call, no per-seat negotiation, and a trial so the staff tests it on a real game before anyone pays.

What video analysis costs a club.

Affordable video analysis for a club comes down to where the price sits. Free tools cost no money and take staff time to set up. Enterprise analysis packages are built and quoted for large organisations, usually after a call. In between are self-serve Mac and Windows apps with a monthly price. The honest number to compare is the total for your staff over a season, including how many computers the licence covers.

Pelaa runs on up to 2 Macs per Monthly or Annual plan, so one coach can use a laptop and a desktop. Clubs with several coaches can write to [email protected] about volume terms and season pilots. See teams and clubs.

Pelaa is a Mac app a club coach can use on day one.

Pelaa video analysis is a native Mac app. Tag a game from file or live from a camera or capture box, send tags to the Stack as clips, draw on stop frames, and export the whole Stack as one video, one video per row, or single clips. In the room, Stack > Start Presentation goes full screen with only the video, and Use Second Screen puts it on the room's TV while the laptop keeps the editor. Tag files import and export as XML and CSV. Projects stay on your Mac and work offline.

I priced it so one coach can pay for it out of pocket. It does not track players or tag automatically, and it has no cloud or player portal: you tag the moments and you send the files.
